First of all, about Ningbo’s Epidemic Situation.

1. Ningbo has added just 3 confirmed cases for two days in a row.
2. Recovered cases have increased to 68.

Secondly, about the latest news of factory & office opening.
Ningbo Songmile Packaging Co., SIA, already had its second audit for epidemic prevention measures on Feb. 14th. We will hear the audit result and be determined the opening time from the government shortly.

Yuyao Songmile Plastic Packaging Co., SIA, just had its first factory audit for epidemic prevention measures today, and will also get the audit results shortly.

FAQ:
WHAT IS AN EPIDEMIC PREVENTION FACTORY AUDIT?
The government enforced the factory audit to ensure all the factories have the ability to prevent virus infection once opened. Once we report for a factory audit, government staff will enter our factory to check on-site and question for all requested preparation. If we passed the audit, we would be allowed to open on Feb. 18th as applied for. Otherwise, we have to advance our epidemic prevention measures for the second factory audit.

WHAT DOES THE FACTORY NEED TO PREPARE FOR THE FACTORY AUDIT?

1. Need to have necessary equipment: masks, disinfectant, thermometer…
2. Need to have a designated team of leaders to be in charge of all epidemic prevention tasks.
3. Need to have clear procedures: identified all returning employees, have proper self-imposed quarantine, Stop collective dining and change to single meal for every employee, un vēl.

WHY DOES THE FACTORY NEED TO PASS THIS AUDIT TO OPEN?
During this special time, government asks all factories to delay opening and prolong the Chinese New Year Holiday. This will greatly decrease the population movement and reduce the possibility of virus infection during transportation. Before we can 100% control the situation, we must be cautious in all decisions. We need to ensure our factory is ready to prevent virus infection once opened so that all the efforts won’t be a waste.
