What do 28/400, 28/410 mo e 28/415 really mean?
- First digit (for example, “28”):This is the outer diameter of the screw mouth in millimeters (mm)
- Second number (for example, “400” , “410”pe”415″):This number represents the thread style. This is the key difference, defining the height of the bottle neck and the number of turns of the thread.

How to measure the size of the screw?
Using a tool called a caliper, you can determine the size of the bottle’s finish.
Measure the “T” dimension (outside diameter)
This is the diameter measured at the very top of the threads. For a 28mm bottle finish, this should be slightly less than 28mm (27.27mm – 27.89mm is fine).
Measure the “H” dimension (neck height)
Measure the distance from the bottom of the gasket to the bottom of the neck,If you measure closer to 17mm, your bottle is a 400 gauge. If it’s closer to 20.5mm, it’s a 410 gauge.

What happens if the Trigger Sprayer doesn’t fit the bottle?
1.Leakage：If the size of the selected closure is shorter than the bottle mouth, there will be a certain gap between the bottle mouth and the closure, which will cause leakage during transportation, shelving and customer use.
2.Thread Slip：Because the trigger sprayer cannot be fully tightened, the plastic threads can wear or “jump” when tightening. This is called “slipping.” The cap will feel loose and will not lock properly, often falling off with the slightest force.
